“My husband’s wish for his big 50 party was to have a hog roast. I sampled Samantha and Barry’s hog roast at a football dinner and was suitably impressed. On Saturday 2nd June my husband and 50 guests were equally thrilled. The hog meat was sweet, succulent and melt in the mouth. The crackling was crisp, crunchy and totally moreish. The stuffing, gravy and very fresh bread enhanced the whole tasting experience. Many friends commented that it was the best they had ever tasted. I would whole heartedly recommend them.”

“I would like to highly commend the above eating establishment!! I look forward on a yearly basis, attending the Antrim show at Shane’s Castle. The sun was shining, a must for this show!! I enjoy looking around the various breeds, home baking, & hand made crafts. But most of all I like to try something that wee bit different to tantalize my taste buds. This is were I felt I had to put my fingers to the keyboard & tell all of my wonderful eating experience!! As I was wandering through the eating tents, I was browsing at various stalls, looking at the menu’s, but not nothing was jumping out at me Until I got a sniff, I turned
toward a very friendly girl, smiling & beckoning me over to try her wares!! She introduced herself & the other 2 members of staff in very friendly manner, explaining, the hog roast is a family run business, were they breed their own pigs & are hosts to various occasions. I was intrigued to try it out, She sliced off the pork, putting a little crackling, stuffing & homemade apple sauce all inside a large bap. What can I say it was delicious!! & excellant value for money. The staff were extremely professional in their demure!! I took their card & I have now recommended them to friends & family.”
